Zamboanga City Heritage Tour
Overview
Forts, mosques, and a city that speaks its own language.
Zamboanga City is unlike anywhere else in the Philippines. It's the only city in the world where Chavacano โ a Spanish-based creole language โ is spoken as a mother tongue. This half-day tour takes you through four centuries of history: a 17th-century Spanish fort still standing on the waterfront, the oldest mosque in Western Mindanao, indigenous Yakan weavers creating intricate fabrics by hand, and the famous Paseo del Mar waterfront promenade. Your DOT-accredited guide will bring each stop to life with stories most guidebooks never tell.
